These files are a PTGui template, sample image, and "adjacency map" for constructing a spherical panorama in PTGui. The template was created for images from a Nikon Coolpix 990 camera with the optional WC-E63 wide angle adapter. The shots were all taken in Portrait orientaiton, but are _not_ rotated prior to adding them to the PTGui project file. PTGui will take care of rotating them. This template is set up for 5 rows, shot as follows (and in this order): 1 row of 6 shots at -45 degrees pitch, starting at 0 yaw, incrementing by 60 degrees 1 row of 9 shots at 0 degrees pitch, starting at 0 yaw, incrementing by 40 degrees 1 row of 6 shots at +45 degrees pitch, starting at 0 yaw, incrementing by 60 degrees 1 "cap" shot at +90 degrees pitch, 0 yaw 1 "nadir" shot at -90 degrees pitch, 0 yaw The template can, of course, be edited to fit any camera/lens/workflow you desire. The adjacency map is available as PDF (non-editable) or a PowerPoint file. Email steven @ kan dot org if you have any questions.
