Conversions

Bloodthrister with spear and whip conversion. The neck has been elongated with a piece of brass wire and putty. Weapons, which replace the original axe and whip, are scratch-built out of picture hanger wire, brass rod, and the original blade from the Verminlord.


Chariot of Tzeentch conversion. Chariot is completely scratch-built and is pulled by two tyranid flyers from the old Battlefleet Gothic game. The body of the chariot is made from an inverted Battlefleet Gothic base the brass rod used to make the posts. Brass chain from a ship model makes the railings and reins. An old shield was used to make the scythe at the bottom.


Banshee Exarch conversion. Standard banshee with a pair of Swooping Hawk exarch wings. Weapons have been swapped out for a spear from the old elven riders set and a straighter power sword


Minor conversion - Swooping Hawk exarch. Drilled a hole into his flightpack and suspended him from a post. Pole was painted a light blue to help blend it into the background.


Everyone has halfling archers, but who leads them? A halfling knight, mounted on his trusty pony, leads his troops forward with a wave of his half-eaten drumstick. Drumstick made by replacing sword with a drumstick made out of modeling putty.


You want heavy metal? You can't get any heavier than a Marine dreadnaught armed with an assault cannon and multimelta. Scratch-built assault cannon made of brass tubing, a pin, and lead foil replaces original powerfist

Nightmare incarnate. A Skaven Verminlord points out his chosen victim. Conversion with scratch-built trident made of brass wire for the shaft and old Space Marine combat blades for the tines. Hand was rotated to make for a more menacing pose.


BLR-6 Battlemaster. Painted in a desert scheme with missile being fired out of shoulder mounted SRM-6. The rocket is made out of a short piece of wire wiht painted cotton glue on. The tip of the wire was painted white with a red tip to look like a rocket on pillar of smoke


Conversion of old Citadel plastic skeleton. This four-armed undead is rising out of the ground. THe additional arms were made by cutting up 2 arms below the shoulder joint and then gluing them to the original skeleton. The figure was give a mix of weapons and shields to make it look like it had been collecting them for some time.


Conversion of steam tank pilot into an artillery champion by removing his sword and replacing it with a telescope. The telescope was made by gluing increasingly larger pieces of brass tubing together. The end was sealed with a small bead of white glue and then painted a tranlucent/shiny blue to simulate glass.


Conversion of a knight. Replaced his sword with a cut down polearm to make a Lochobar Axe and added a Citadel shield


Organ gun conversion from OOP Chaos Dwarf war machine. The pavaise was moved forward and drilled to make room for 5 barrels, which were cut from brass tubing. Some of the supports were also moved around to create the back block for the barrels
