Painting A Cygnar Charger for Warmachine

Here is a Cygnar Charger for Warmachine. This was my first figure for the game.

1. Prime the figure with Citadel Colour Ultramarine Blue spray.
2. Highlight edges with a mix of Citadel Ultramarine Blue and Citadel Space Wolf Grey
3. Basecoast all of the metal VGC Gunmetal Metal
4. Wash the entire model with a mix of Liquitex Paynes Grey, Liquitex Glaze Medium, and some water
5. Line the edges of the figure using the same Citadel Ultramarine Blue and Citadel Space Wolf Grey mix
6. Mix some chestnut ink and water and selectively apply this to the backs of the steam boiler and around the joints to look like leaked fluid
7. Dilute some orange with water and selectively apply this to the areas you think might end up being a little rusty
8. Drybrush the metal parts with VGC Gunmetal and then a little bit of VGC Silver
9. Paint the brass areas VGC Brassy Brass
10. Wash the brass with a mix of Liquitex Raw Umber and water
11. Line the edges of the brass sections with VMC Glorious Gold
12. Paint the eyes with the color of your choice, I used a bright blue, but other people use oranges/yellows
13. Use a flat brush to paint the Cygnar symbol white
14. Base
15. Seal
