Help me feed battered women and children!!!!!

My firm is sponsoring a food drive (6-20 November) to help out local families, many of which are victims of domestic violence. All food and funds (funds will be used to buy dry and canned foods) will be donated to either the Cameron House in San Francisco Chinatown or to the Mei Lun Yuen Housing Project on Sacramento Street.

Come and visit Elite Forces 4 Dummies. I ported most of my Quake 3 material for scripting, tactics, and FAQ over to Elite Forces since they're based on the same engine. Some of the work is still in progress but I think I've got the bulk of the material put together. Check it out and tell me what you think.

I've taken most of my notes about Urban Terror and formatted them as a FAQ. I'll be working with some of the gents on the Urban Terror forums to expand this and add a 'How-to-play Urban Terror' section.

I've been playing around with Urban Terror Beta 2 a lot and have learned bunches from the guys over at the Urban Terror Forums. I've compiled all my notes in one Urban Terror notes page which includes tips on action binds, weapons assignments, and creating pre-defined weapon-gear combinations. Check it out. Also made some updates in the links and FAQ pages.

Urban Terror Beta 2 was just released. They've changed some of the commands and weapon assignments so I thought I'd share my configuration (terror.cfg) with the world.

Added a new section called Featured Articles. I will be a contributing writer to Gamepower, a web site dedicated to getting the most out of your system. The articles I write for Gamepower will be mirrored somewhat in Featured Articles then moved to the main body of the FAQ when a new article comes out. This way I can keep updating the content as new information comes out or we learn new ways to do things.

For starters, I will be pulling some of the content I have developed for this site and re-writing as a more cohesive and helpful resource. The first one coming up will be an article on setting up your keyboard and structuring your autoexec. In the following weeks (or months depending on my time constraints), look for articles on scripting, making demos, and dealing with bots. If you have suggestions about what you would like to see, e-mail me.

I just added some more information on how to view demos and take screenshots. I've been playing with a very cool demo viewing app called Geekplay and wrote up some notes. I'm also working on a short piece about configuring your key assignments and organizing your autoexec.cfg. Watch for this over the next couple of weeks.

Well, I apparently overwrote a later version of the FAQ document and lost several sections such as the demo guide *sigh. I'll have to look around my hard drive to see if I can find a back up copy somewhere.

VOILA! Thank God for backups. I found my latest version of the Newbie FAQ and it's back on line again

I got off my butt and validated all of the links of the Links page and added a few more.

This site is getting large enough to warrant a seperate page to track updates and news, so here it is. I've reformatted some stuff, hopefully to make the site easier to navigate and more user-friendly.

I've worked on the scripting tutorial to make it more intuitive and easy to follow. In the last go around, I also added a section on recording demos and converting them to avi files. The credit for the original material really goes to Worthless over at the Quake III:Arena Message Board

Additionally over the next week, i will be added a few more links, specifically links to map and voice communications sites, and improving the weapons and powerups section on the tactics site.

Anyway, hope you all like the improvements.
